Sue Matthews and Andrea Cohane are sisters who grew up in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite ten years between them, they have always been soul mates, best friends and fierce supporters of one another.

SUE & ANDREA

When Sue's middle daughter Taylor was diagnosed with cancer at the age of eleven, their seemingly perfect world was turned upside down. Writing about Taylor's journey, which included at the forefront a love affair between her and her mother, was both cathartic and painful, and Sue turned to Andrea for help. Together the sisters painstakingly relay Taylor's story both to honor her and to caution anyone dealing with a disease about the need to be your own advocate and above all, continue living life with meaning and purpose.

This book is a love story between mother and daughter, as they embark on a pediatric cancer journey while embracing life with a gusto reserved for the unbridled optimism of explorers and children. From page one to page last, you will laugh, you will cry and you will learn to love a little deeper.
